Neighborhood Vandalism

There have been some random events of theft in the neighborhood involving vehicles.  Please be aware that vehicle thieves are on the lookout for an opportunity to take your valuable possesions, make sure your vehicles are locked and no keys are left accessible to the criminals.  If you witness any activity taking place, please call 911 immediately.

Home Lawn Care

In the summer months it is very important to keep up with our lawn care.  Please make sure that all lawns are well maintained.    For those that are overgrown, Polk County Code Enorcement has been notified. The process includes notification of the homeowner via a formal request from the county.  Followed by a fine and the county calling in an outside company to clean up the property.  Any charges/fines will be directly applied to the homeowner.  If you as a homeowner see an overgrown lawn, please call Polk County Code Enforcement.

Homeowner Associacion Dues

A reminder that HOA payments are due the 31st of March of every year.  Please make your payment on time to avoid a  $25.00 late fee. You can mail a check or money order to our address or pay on our website with a debit or credit card.

Neighborhood Watch

Please be aware of anyone that you do not recognize.  If you see anything that would raise suspicion, please call 911 immediately to bring the Polk County Sheriff's office here.  There should be no one walking through your neighbors yards, or parked on the street in front of houses.  Again, be aware of what is going on to protect yourself and your neighbors.

Always beware of your neighborhood surroundings and watch out for your neighbors!

Retention Ponds

Notice - All retention ponds located within the Lake Thomas Woods 8th Addition are considered Private Property and Trespassing is not allowed.  No Trespassing signs have been installed in all retention ponds.  Polk County Sheriffs will be patrolling the neighborhood.  If they see anyone in any retention ponds, they will prosecute.

If you as a homeowner see any people in any of the retention ponds, please remind those individuals that all of the ponds are private property and any damage resulting from their actions is the responsibility of the Homeowners Association.  Damage with related cost could result in unexpected cost to all homeowners
